Services

The Anthropology undergraduate society is called the Kula Ring and it is located down the hall from the main office of the Anthropology Department in ES 610. It offers students a comfortable lounge area (complete with affordable liquid refreshments and the use of a fridge and microwave) where they have the opportunity to get to know other anthropology students, to discuss courses and ideas, to peruse exam files, and to be involved in the hosting of social functions such as the bi-annual Wine and Cheese receptions and Halloween, Christmas, and Year End parties. These functions provide students with the opportunity to socialise with faculty members and other students. Membership is available to any anthropology student at a nominal cost per year. Elections to the Kula Ring Executive are held annually.

Photocopying

$ .10 per page photocopying is available in the office to any anthropology major with a $5.00 deposit.
